It’s important to support small businesses all the time but especially when the economy is hurting like it is right now. According to the SBA, the United States is home to 28.8 million small businesses — which accounts for 99.7% of all US businesses. Since 1995, more than half of U.S. jobs were created by small businesses. These small companies care about the community and are vital to a healthy economy.

It’s been heartbreaking to see so many businesses close their doors in the las week. Some are temporarily shut down completely, some are offering to-go/curbside/delivery services, and some, like retail stores, are only available through online orders. Below I shared some small businesses I love to support whether that’s by purchasing from them or being part of their community on social media (aka a free way to show your support). If you find yourself wanting/needed to make a purchase, seek out small businesses first, your dollars will make a much larger impact by doing so!
