PLAID JACKET | BLACK BOOTS | REVERSIBLE PURSE | DARK SKINNY JEANS | TURTLENECK
I can’t lie, I’m a bit in denial that it is time to pull out fall and winter coats already. The colder months seem to last forever here in Michigan so although we’ve had a beautiful fall so far it’s never easy to pull out outerwear knowing the bitterly cold temperatures are right around the corner. That being said, selecting a few cute go-to jackets for the fall and winter season makes the process a little easier.
The plaid, longline coat I’m wearing above is the newest one I’ve added to my fall and winter wardrobe. I love the look of a plaid blazer or jacket and felt this one would be very versatile due to the neutral color of it. It is a great women’s jacket to reach for when the weather is chilly and you want to dress up a pair of jeans along with some fall ankle booties.
Similar to women’s shoes, I feel like you can’t really have enough coats for the fall and winter seasons. To help you from feeling overwhelmed with too many options, I have curated 7 cozy jackets that will make the transition of weather from early fall to late winter much easier. Most of these jackets can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion which is great for working women who also love to run errands in a cute, casual outfit.
PLAID MID-LENGTH COAT – I linked the exact plaid, calf-length coat I’m wearing in the photos above but I did notice that at the time of this post going live the sizes were pretty picked over so I wanted to included this similar one here. I love how this style of coat can easily elevate an outfit.
DENIM JACKET – I’ve had this jacket in my wardrobe for over a year and have gotten so much use out of it. It’s a great oversized fit without looking baggy or too slouchy.
QUILTED SHACKET – Shackets are a mix between a shirt and a jacket and they are all the rage this year. This versatile piece can be styled in many ways and makes a great transition piece from fall to winter.
BOXY PUFFER JACKET – This is such a great jacket for late fall or early winter. The short length gives a nice, casual feel but will still keep your upper body warm.
CALF-LENGTH CAMEL COAT – I have a very similar coat from last year that is a true closet staple. This color and style coat goes with everything and can be worn dressy or relaxed.
LONG SHERPA COAT – This is the ultimate cozy winter coat that looks promising to keep you warm when the temperatures drop. This cute style also comes in a cream and grey color.
ULTIMATE PARKA – This parka coat is definitely an investment but the fit and quality would keep you nice and warm during the cold winter months for years to come.
I hope you found this post helpful and narrowed down what fall and winter jackets may be missing from your wardrobe. Not only are coats and jackets essential for staying warm during the colder months but they also make getting dressed way more fun. Layering jackets and styling fall and winter outfits will help you embrace the cooler temps this year.
