24 Hours In Scottsdale, AZ

On my husband and I’s recent trip out west, we spent part of our trip driving from Joshua Tree, CA to Scottsdale, AZ. This U.S. destination has been on a travel bucket list for some time now. Since our original travel plans included spending some time near Lake Powell in northern Arizona, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to make a stop in Scottsdale.

The Scott Resort & Spa

After the long drive, we were ready to fall out and relax for a day, and staying at The Scott Resort & Spa was the perfect place to do so. I knew this resort was going to be beautiful from photos I had seen before our trip but it was even better in person. Every inch of this resort incorporated beautiful and thoughtful design and is truly picture-worthy. My favorite part was the sprawling outdoor patio areas near the pool pictured below. I dream of having an outdoor fireplace and a hanging swing chair of my own one day!

The Scott Resort & Spa is conveniently located just outside the heart of Scottsdale and is a short drive from lots of great restaurants and shops. We only ventured away from the resort briefly since we spent the rest of our time lounging by the pool and enjoying the cute bar and restaurant onsite.

Although we wish we could have spent more time in Scottsdale, Arizona, we really enjoyed the time we had.
